Finally, after months of unpalatable field research, I have discovered a delicious secret in Dodge City. Palenteria Rio Grande is an ice cream parlor that, in the usual dodgey architectural fashion, looks just like a gas station from the outside, but behind that ugly exterior is handmade, custom wrapped ice cream and pops. I sampled them all. The best were the strawberry's and
cream and a pouch filled with icy creamy vanilla stuff.
